The Detective Dog for the collective project “Il Cane di San Lorenzo”

This series of handcrafted illustrations, ink and watercolor, trails the adventures of the Detective Dog of San Lorenzo through the lanes of Genoa. As part of the collective project titled 'Il Cane di San Lorenzo,' these artworks bring to life the unique charm and character of Genoa's streets, seen through the clever eyes of its canine sleuth.

Around this canine protagonist, a colourful cast of side characters, depicted as animals donning the personas of Genoese locals and foreigners, each playing a vital role in the unfolding narrative through Genoa’s unique urban tapestry.

The first three illustrations have been published on the official page of Il Cane di San Lorenzo, the last one is my personal work, serving as study for the characters’ development.
